Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was injured during a congressional trip to Luxembourg and has been hospitalized, her spokesperson announced Friday morning.
Pelosi, 84, who was in Luxembourg to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, was “injured during an official match and was hospitalized for evaluation,” press secretary Ian Craiger said in a statement. “The Honorable Pelosi is currently receiving excellent care from her doctors and medical professionals.”
The statement did not provide additional details about how the injury occurred or Pelosi’s current condition.
Crager said Pelosi will “continue to work” but will not attend the remaining events of the Congressional delegation.
This is a developing story.
