Cultural Compass: A Celebration of Black History Month at USC

On February 24, 2025, the University of Southern California (USC) hosted Cultural Compass: A Celebration of Black History Month, an event dedicated to honoring and reflecting on the significant contributions of Black individuals throughout history. Held from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Ralph and Goldy Lewis Hall, the event brought together students, faculty, and community members to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and achievements of the Black community through performances, discussions, and presentations.

A Tribute to Black History and Culture

Cultural Compass was designed to offer an educational and reflective space where attendees could explore the impact of Black history on contemporary society. The event highlighted a range of topics, from the arts and music to civil rights and social justice, showcasing the diverse ways in which Black individuals have shaped history and continue to contribute to modern culture.
